Game Rules
The Board
40 spaces around the board: 28 properties across 8 color groups, 4 rails, 2 utilities, tax squares, and Wild Card/Supply Cache draws. Land on a space to trigger its effect.
Turn Flow
Roll two dice, advance your token, then decide: buy the property, pass on it, manage buildings, propose trades, or end your turn. Doubles grant an extra roll, but three in a row sends you to lockup.
Building
Own every property in a color group to form a full color set. Build houses evenly across the set, then upgrade to a hotel. Rent multiplies dramatically with each structure -- a full hotel can bankrupt visitors in one landing.
Trading
Propose structured deals: offer combinations of cash, properties, and Get Out of Lockup cards. The counterparty can accept, reject, or propose a counter-offer. Strategic trades accelerate full-set formation.
Lockup
Three ways out: pay $50 bail, use a Get Out of Lockup Free card, or roll doubles. You get three attempts to roll doubles before forced to pay. Early game, lockup costs tempo; late game, it can be a safe haven from rent.
Winning
Last solvent player standing. When you cannot cover rent or debt, you must mortgage properties and sell buildings. If that still isn't enough, you go bankrupt and your assets transfer to the creditor.
